  • Articles with excessive links to your blog (self-promotion) will not be accepted. However, you can link out to relevant articles as extra reading and for credit wherever required.
  • Inappropriate language and content will not be accepted.
  • Ensure exclusivity of content - content published elsewhere will not be accepted. This means that the post should not have been published elsewhere earlier, and should not be published later elsewhere. Note that this is not because we would like to keep all the best posts, but rather because search engines will penalize us for duplicate content.

Format

  • Paragraph tags should not be included in the post (for example, Windows Live Writer includes paragraph tags). Ideally, you should compose from the WordPress post editor and post the code (from Code view) to a text (.txt) file.
  • Your name and blog(link) in the first line of the article.
  • Format the article with headings properly. Wrap your post headings with <h3>HEADING HERE</h3>
  • Interesting images (maximum width 468px) should be added for visual interest, wherever appropriate. However, use of copyrighted images without permission is strictly prohibited.
  • Your profile photo (50 x 50px) at the end of the post (optional). This can help create a profile in the minds of our readers.
  • Send the final formatted article from the Contact page.
